Hello! My name is Loreal Renée and I am an artist from Los Angeles, CA.
I love acting and art, and every day I’m discovering different ways to express myself creatively in those mediums. I studied Acting at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, under Haila Strauss, Antonio Suarez, and Jeff Morrison.
While in New York, I was cast in many different interactive theatre experiences, such as Passport to Iron City: The Alita Experience. I was also a key actor at the iconic Jekyll & Hyde’s Club, where I performed stand-up comedy, and other various acts as a dinner performer. Interactive theatre is unique, as I was able to connect with my audience members directly, which allows for improv hyper-personalized to them.
Since moving back to Los Angeles, I have completely thrown myself at my visual arts, as I’ve been painting and creating graphic designs. My visual art is abstract and physical, with broad paint strokes that convey emotion. I had a dream one day that I was wearing a super cool tote bag, that had a hand-painted distorted face on it. I decided to make that dream a reality, and launched Eyebags by Loreal. These totes are meant to convey heavy emotions that are difficult to express, while also being wearable art to make a statement with your outfit.
I want people to be proud of the intense emotions that leave them confused. Embrace them and wear them as badges. I hope people look at my art and acting and be inspired to express themselves in that way as well.
